Michigan Trails

We lived in Michigan in the 1980's. I loved walking on paths through the woods on our farm or in the many parks in Washtenaw County. I always carried a camera and I took photos of light effects. I was eager to see what was around the next bend. I took 2 workshops from Nita Engle when we lived there. She taught me to use mask. I used a lot of it and that gave my paintings a batik look.
